These sketches thy I have looked at of Lesely Hurst's fashion designs are designs for different garnments such as coats and dresses. There are six designs on one page, each design showing a very different style that could be then created. The designs are quick sketches in pen with light suggestions of colour and tone that have been added over the top in whater colour. The figures that are wearing the coats in the designs are very simplistic with exaggerated features such as the legs, these are much longer than they should be to maybe communicate the thinness of models. The designs are very simplistic in the way that detail has just been suggested, instead of a lot if time spent on adding every detail.
